That day I was speaking to one of my friends, a cool guy, lets call him Abz, we been good friends for a while and during this conversation he pops up this surprising comment, not knowing if I was supposed to take it as a compliment or an insult I became nervous, and with furiousness I called him gay. He said that was the truth !
Still wondering whether my reaction to his comment was out of control I went to another good friend, trying not to mention names, and told him the whole story. He looked at me, looked at Abz (he was there), then looked back at me and REPEATED THE COMMENT WORD BY WORD !!! saying that's the truth and there is nothing wrong with it ....
I don't have any issues with my sexuality, but wouldn't comments such as "I would've married you if you were a girl !" scare the shit out of a straight guy?

It depends. I think yeah it's scary to hear such a thing, but if it's for fun and as a joke that's ok. But, if it's for real, then I can't help u on this buddy.
It's just odd to hear such things even if it's a joke. But it seems ur friend meant it! O_O
Its not gay.,, at all. It makes sense now that I think of it...
sadly, it only made sense to you and Abz
3lo g sho rayek ?????
You should have been flattered if anything else. Clearly it was meant as a compliment. You can only hope and wish that you are as comfortable with your life partner as you are with your friends.
So - he's not gay at all - just appreciate the value of a good friendship. And perhaps, you want to ease up on being a homophobe a bit :)
i commented fragile... Im lucifer
i used to hear that alot from my friend (gurl) and hey we r both straight lol it just meant that its hard to find any1 that u can open to so freely ...
It's a strange thing to say full stop.
hahaha.
its ok, it doesnt mean hes gay.
sheesh. Its just soo funny how you freaked out.
its been said to me many times before, and my friends arent homo.
ease up bro, ease up.
...but maybe you should try to be more masculine ;)
(i joke, i joke)
meh dude, I don't know whether you will read this or not, since this post is completely old.
a few years ago, in ramadan, i was having dinner with a saudi sheikh and a few friends (sheikh not as in royalty), anyways, one says: you know we're generous here and all .. so you have to leave here with a wife, the sheikhs laughs and says ... who would want me, another guy pops up and says: afa ya sheikh, itha kent bnaya, walla 5theetik. ("come on" or something similar [arabic expression] sheikh, if i was a girl, i swear i would have married you) ... the sheikh subsequently choked on his food.
thing is, about this phrase, it isnt about sexual attraction or whatnot, it just means that you're a great person and your friend, Abz, just feels really comfortable around u.
o0 ba3dain, ive seen the shit bedouins do in abu dhabi, it's extreme dude ... i have had my bits grabbed countless times, and been flirted with and shit (and no, am not feminine or gay in any way) as a joke ... so, since u lived there and are from there and all .. shouldnt u be sorta used to that?
dunnow, this seems long enough lol, and excuse my rambling.
